  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (113g)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed (200g)
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature (56g)
  • 1 cup icing sugar (100g)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (120g), room temp
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (60g)

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk until lukewarm, then combine with yeast in a mixing bowl. Let sit until frothy.
  2. Add granulated sugar, eggs, salt, and softened butter; gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth (5-7 minutes), then place in a greased bowl and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  4. For the filling, mix softened butter with brown sugar, cinnamon powder, and salt.
  5. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle, spread filling evenly, roll tightly, and cut into 12 pieces.
