  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, and egg. Mix until well combined.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper; mix until evenly distributed.
  3. In another bowl, blend cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapeños until smooth.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Press half of the meat mixture into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Spread the jalapeño filling over the meat layer and top with the remaining meat mixture. Seal edges well.
  6. Brush the top with barbecue sauce and bake for about 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.
