- 10 celery stalks
- 1 green apple
- 2 romaine lettuce leaves
- 1/2 cup grapes (or sultanas)
- 1/4 cup walnuts (or pecans/almonds)
- 2 Tbsp dried barberries (or cranberries/pomegranate)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp lime juice (or lemon juice)
- 1 garlic clove
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Wash and chop the celery into bite-sized pieces.
- Core and dice the green apple into small cubes.
- Tear the romaine lettuce into smaller pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped celery, diced apple, torn lettuce, grapes or sultanas, nuts, and dried barberries.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently until well coated.
