  • 1 1/2 pounds flank or skirt steak
  • 8 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon sweet/smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • Salt and chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • Pitas or naan bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine steak with garlic, onion powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, lemon zest, salt, and olive oil. Let marinate for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Place marinated steak on the baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes, then broil for an additional 2–5 minutes until crispy.
  4. While the steak rests, mix feta cheese into the tzatziki sauce.
