  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce (to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, chili garlic sauce, and ketchup until well combined.
  2. Slice flank steak against the grain into 1/4 inch pieces and add to the marinade. Toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Thread marinated steak pieces onto skewers, leaving space on each end.
