  • 16 ounces frozen peas (cooked, drained and cooled)
  • 1 cup Medium Cheddar Cheese (cut into small cubes)
  • 2 hard cooked eggs (chopped)
  • 1 cup celery (chopped)
  • 1/8 cup sweet pickles (drained, chopped)
  • 2 slices thick turkey bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Miracle Whip (or mayonnaise)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the frozen peas according to package instructions. Drain and cool for about 15 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked peas, cheddar cheese cubes, chopped eggs, celery, sweet pickles, and crumbled turkey bacon. Stir gently to mix.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together Miracle Whip and heavy cream until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well combined.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours or overnight before serving.
