  • 6 fresh oranges
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g flour
  • Powdered sugar for garnish
  • Fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the oranges by cutting off the tops and scooping out their flesh without damaging the skin. Squeeze the flesh to extract juice.
  2. Replace the tops back onto each orange half and secure them with toothpicks.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, 50 ml of orange juice, eggs, melted butter, and dark chocolate. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fold in flour until fully combined.
  5. Pour the batter into each hollowed orange half on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F) for about 20 minutes.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh mint before serving.
