  • 4 boneless skinless Salmon Fillets
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 6 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1.5 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 12 cloves Garlic
  • 1/21 tsp Chili Flakes
  • Olive Oil, as needed
  • Salt & Pepper, as needed
  • Finely diced Spring Onion, to serve (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Cook salmon skin-side up for about 3 minutes until golden.
  3. Flip the salmon and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Move fillets aside, add butter to the pan, and baste salmon for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat, add garlic and chili flakes; sauté briefly before adding honey, vinegar, and soy sauce. Simmer until thickened.
  6. Return salmon to the pan to coat with sauce; serve garnished with spring onions.
