  • 7 g instant yeast
  • 15 g granulated sugar
  • 7 g salt
  • 35 ml sunflower oil
  • 225 ml water
  • 40 g butter (for filling)
  • 1 egg (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, salt, sunflower oil, and water. Mix well and knead for 10-12 minutes until smooth.
  2. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  3. Divide the dough into two pieces and roll each into a circle on a floured surface.
  4. Spread softened butter on one circle and place the second circle on top. Cut into 12 triangles.
  5. Roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip to form croissants.
  6. Place them on a lined baking tray, brush with beaten egg, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
