  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 sheets pre-made puff pastry (frozen or refrigerated)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut each sheet of puff pastry into four squares.
  2. Brush each square with whisked egg and fold into triangles, sealing edges firmly.
  3. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown.
  4. For the berry jam, simmer blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice over medium heat until thickened.
  5. Whip cold heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sour cream until fluffy, then fold in whipped cream.
  6. Once croissants have cooled, cut them open gently, spread berry jam inside, fill with cream mixture, and dust with powdered sugar.
