- 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup red candy melts
- 1 cup blue candy melts
- 1 cup powdered sugar (divided)
- ⅔ cup patriotic M&M’s
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt red candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl for about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Drizzle melted red candy over 2 cups of Rice Chex and stir gently to coat.
- While still wet, sprinkle with ¼ cup powdered sugar and toss to coat. Repeat once more with another ¼ cup.
- Spread on one side of the prepared baking sheet to dry.
- Repeat steps 2-5 with blue candy melts.
- Allow both mixtures to set for about 10 minutes.
- Combine the coated cereals in a large bowl and mix in patriotic M&M’s.
