  • 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup red candy melts
  • 1 cup blue candy melts
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (divided)
  • â…” cup patriotic M&M’s

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt red candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl for about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Drizzle melted red candy over 2 cups of Rice Chex and stir gently to coat.
  4. While still wet, sprinkle with ¼ cup powdered sugar and toss to coat. Repeat once more with another ¼ cup.
  5. Spread on one side of the prepared baking sheet to dry.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 with blue candy melts.
  7. Allow both mixtures to set for about 10 minutes.
  8. Combine the coated cereals in a large bowl and mix in patriotic M&M’s.
